Star Wars KotOR 2 Install trouble? “Redundancy Check”?

I uninstalled it from my old Windows XP. I try to install it onto Windows Vista. I install disk 1 with no problem, but when I FINISH disk 2, a small window appears that tells me that there was an error and something about a “Redundancy Check”… I have looked to see if I have some old files from a previous install (don’t know why that would happen)… what am I doing wrong or is it Vista?

A Cyclic Redundancy Check failure usually means that the CD/DVD is scratched, or there is a bad sector on your hard drive.
